IAT - FAQ | UPDATE 15/06/2009

I've received in these years some email ask me about features or simple info about IAT, and now I've maked FAQ about it



FAQ

What does IAT mean?

IAT stands for ISO9660 Analyzer Tool.

What's IAT for ?

IAT is a tool that helps user to burn CD/DVD images.

How to compile git version ?
> $autoreconf
$./configure

$./autogen.sh
$make








What does IAT support at the moment?

At the moment it supports only DATA-CD (used for videogames), doesn't work for AUDIO-CD or VCD/SVCD

Does it support compressed CD images ?

No, it doesn't support compressed CD images like UIF and DAA at the moment.

What can I do with IAT ?

At the moment it allows to convert a RAW/PROPRIETARY DATA-CD image to an ISO9660 image or create a cue file² (cue-sheet) or TOC⁴

What operating systems are supported ?

Supported operating systems are Gnu/Linux and Microsoft Windows XP (I had the chance to try the program only on these operating systems).

Is there a IAT version for other operating systems ?

Yes, but there isn't an official support, here is the list of operating systems that don't have an official support :
Darwin/Mac OS X, OS/2, FreeBSD.

Are there GUIs for IAT ?

Yes, but they aren't officially supported:iat ISO Converter (KDE), ISOmorphin (Gnome), a2i (PyGtk).
